Carpenter Auckland Carpentry Full time $25 - $30 per hour
Commercial Fit-Outs | Interior Works | Consistent Pipeline
We're looking for reliable Carpenters with strong GIB installation and stopping experience to join well-run commercial projects across Auckland.
This role is ideal for someone who's confident working indoors, understands tidy finishes, and takes pride in producing sharp, professional results. If you're a Carpenter who can install GIB cleanly, understands stopping standards, and doesn't need chasing to get things done right, this is a solid opportunity. The Role
- GIB installation, fixing, and preparation across commercial interiors
- Assisting with (or carrying out) GIB stopping, finishing, and detailing
- Interior carpentry works including fix-out and remedial tasks
- Reading and working from plans, drawings, and scope of works
- Working alongside site managers, GIB stoppers, and other trades
- Maintaining high standards of site safety, quality, and productivity
Experience / Requirements
- Proven carpentry experience with a strong focus on GIB installation and stopping
- Commercial site experience preferred
- Good understanding of finish-level workmanship and tolerances
- Confident reading plans and following scope of works
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as part of a crew
- Site Safe (or willingness to obtain)
- Own basic hand tools (project dependent)
- NZ-based experience preferred
Tickets such as EWP or Working at Heights are a bonus but not essential.
