Welcome to TechClean – New Zealand’s trusted experts in asbestos removal, restoration, and hazardous material management. We’re growing – and we’re looking for reliable, safety-focused Class 2 Truck Drivers to join our team on a casual, as-required basis.

About the Role: As a Class 2 Truck Driver at TechClean, you’ll support our operational teams by transporting equipment, materials, and waste safely between sites and facilities. This is a casual position, ideal for someone looking for flexible work, with the opportunity for more permanent employment for the right candidate. If you have experience in asbestos removal or hold a Class A or B Supervisor licence, there may be opportunities to step into a more regular or full-time role within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and in compliance with NZ road and transport regulations
• Transport asbestos waste, equipment, and materials between job sites and disposal facilities
• Assist with loading, securing, and unloading of equipment and materials
• Support site teams with basic labouring tasks when required
• Complete delivery dockets, logbooks, and required documentation accurately
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times

About You:

• Full, clean Class 2 driver licence (required)
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Comfortable working around construction or asbestos removal environments
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Physically fit and willing to assist with manual tasks when needed
• Flexible and available to work on a casual, as-required basis
• Bonus: experience in asbestos removal or holding a Class A or B Supervisor licence
