Steel Fixer We’re looking for experienced steel fixers to join a busy Tauranga-based team working in a central factory environment. If you’ve got a solid background in steel fixing and enjoy working with concrete, cages, and boxing, this is a great opportunity to lock in long hours and make good money before Christmas.
Location: Tauranga Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $30 per hour (paid weekly) Your role will involve:
- Installing steel reinforcement for concrete structures
- Reading and interpreting construction plans
- Assembling and securing rebar and steel cages
- May be required to assist with boxing or concrete works where needed
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Steel fixing tools
- Proven experience in steel fixing
- Factory or precast yard experience
- NZ/AUS Residency or valid work visa
- Reliable transport
- Physically fit and strong
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to work long hours
