Stonemason Join a specialist team working with premium natural stone, engineered stone, and ultra-compact porcelain surfaces on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. We’re looking for a skilled stonemason to take on precision installation and finishing work across benchtops, vanities, and custom fittings.
Location: Central Tauranga Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly) You’ll be responsible for:
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping natural and engineered stone surfaces
- Installing benchtops, vanities, splashbacks, and other fittings
- Operating hand tools and stone-cutting machinery
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
- Polishing, edging, and finishing to a high standard
- Safely handling and transporting stone materials
- Working on-site and in the workshop to maintain high-quality standards
- Communicating with clients, builders, and project managers
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience working with natural and engineered stone
- Confidence using hand tools and stone-cutting machinery
- Strong attention to detail and physical fitness
- A full NZ driver’s licence
- Site Safe or similar construction-related tickets
