About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Skilled Labourer / Handyman to join our Tauranga team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role supporting a variety of construction activities across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You’ll be working as part of a dedicated team to ensure smooth site operations and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- General site set-up, clean-up, and preparation
- Carrying out minor maintenance works unsupervised
- Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors as required
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Operating hand and power tools
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or general labouring essential
- Strong work ethic and good physical fitness
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Own transport (company van available for the right candidate)
- Ability to travel throughout the wider Bay of Plenty region
- Height, EWP, and First Aid certifications preferred but not essential
