Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, foundations, and the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure work is completed to specification.
- Ensure safety standards are met and adhered to on-site.
- Work effectively with your team, communicating clearly to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently when required.
- Occasionally work Saturdays as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years' proven experience as a carpenter in New Zealand.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- Full tool kit to carry out your carpentry duties.
- Reliable transport and a punctual work ethic.
- Site Safe certification is advantageous but not essential.
