Description
We are looking for a reliable and motivated 2nd or 3rd year Residential Construction Apprentice Carpenter (or potentially newly qualified) to join our growing team in Christchurch. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice who already has solid on-site experience and is keen to continue developing their skills across a range of residential projects.
What you’ll do:
- Work on high qulaity new builds & rennovations
- Assist with framing, installing doors, windows, decks, and interiors wint increasing independence
- Help with site setup, materials, and maintaining a tidy work area
- Work closely with experienced carpenters and receive on-the-job training
What we’re looking for:
- Is currently a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice carpenter (or newly qualified)
- Has residential construction experience and is confident using hand and power tools
- Can read and understand plans with guidance
- Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual, and has a positive attitude
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to learn and take direction
