About the Role We're looking for experienced Commercial Carpenters and capable Hammerhands to join busy commercial construction projects across Christchurch and Ashburton. This is hands-on commercial work where quality matters. You'll be part of professional site teams delivering projects that genuinely shape the region. If you take pride in your work, communicate well on site, and bring a strong work ethic every day, you'll be well supported and respected in this role.
Wages $26.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience) Location Christchurch & Ashburton

What You Will Be Doing
- Reading and working from construction plans
- Formwork and reinforcing tasks
- Assisting with problem-solving on site
- Communicating with crews, supervisors, and contractors
- Following all site health and safety requirements
What We Require
- Trade-qualified Carpenter or experienced Hammerhand
- Proven commercial construction experience
- Full tool kit (hand and power tools)
- Confident reading and interpreting plans
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Full Class 1 driver licence and reliable transport
- Site Safe or Construct Safe (we can assist if required)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
