About The Role: Are you ready to be part of something big? Max People is looking for seasoned Formworkers to join our team on a long-term basis in Christchurch. Play a key role on projects where your expertise in formwork, concreting, and carpentry will shine. Whether working independently or as part of a team, this role offers variety and stability in civil construction.

Wages: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Location: Christchurch

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Creating formwork for concrete walls, slabs, tilt slabs, retaining walls, and pre-cast panels.
  • Reading and interpreting plans to ensure accuracy.
  • Propping and integrating steel reinforcements for structural strength.
  • Using proprietary systems such as Doka and Altrad
  • Maintaining health and safety compliance on-site.

What We Require:

  • Proven experience as a Formworker with a track record in civil projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Full toolkit.
  • Proficiency in concreting, formwork, carpentry, and varied designs.
  • Strong health and safety focus.
  • Valid Site Safe and/or Construct Safe (or willingness to obtain, we can assist with this).
  • Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
