Description
Foreman Carpenter – Architectural Builds (40–45 hrs/week) We’re looking for an experienced Foreman Carpenter to lead from the front on high-end architectural builds. This is a hands-on role — you’ll be on the tools daily while managing the team and keeping projects running smoothly.
- Location: Christchurch
- Start: Immediate / ASAP
- Pay Rate: $40–$50 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small team on site
- Stay actively on the tools (not just overseeing)
- Coordinate workflow, timelines, and subcontractors
- Deliver high-quality finishes on architectural builds
- Uphold strong health & safety standards
What we need from you:
- Level 4 Carpentry Qualification (or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience as a Foreman
- Strong background in architectural / high-spec residential builds
- Confident leading teams and running sites
- Ability to read and interpret plans accurately
- Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in quality workmanship
