Fernlea Cabinetry & Joinery is seeking an experienced cabinet maker/joiner to join our team in Te Rapa, Hamilton, Waikato. This full-time position will see you play a key role in the production and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery for both residential and commercial projects.
What you'll be doing:
Fabricating and assembling joinery from detailed plans and specifications. Operating woodworking machinery, CNC, edgebander, spindle moulders etc. Pre hung doors On occasion performing onsite measurements and installations. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Providing mentorship to our apprentices.
What we are looking for: Proven experience in joinery/cabinet making. This is not a junior role. Either Trade Certified or at least 2 years of work experience. Excellent attention to detail, ability to read technical plans and interpret them. Good problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach that puts the team first. Trained in stationary woodworking machines Experience in applying stains and paint
