Maintenance Person

We require an enthusiastic, hard working person who is punctual, a team player and with an eye for detail, who would like to be part of a team who enjoy what they do.

Permanent position available of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working at both Atawhai Assisi, 158 Matangi Road and Tamahere Eventide, 61 Bollard Road, Hamilton.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs to the Trust owned buildings and equipment as needed arranging contractors when the work is outside of ability, skills or professional practice. This includes painting work.
• Follow the schedule of ongoing maintenance, and building warrant of fitness owner checks in terms of best practice.
• Maintain the workshop to a level of best practice ensuring that it is always able to cope with any work that the staff and contractors need to undertake.
• Update Electronic maintenance system as jobs completed/assigned to contractors.
• Attend weekly meeting with and complete a monthly report to Property Manager
• Ensure that staff in the area where you are working have notice of maintenance that is to be carried out.
