Builders Labourer – Opportunities in Waikato

Tradestaff are looking for builders labourers to work on sites across Waikato. Minimum of six months in the construction field required.
Your role will include but not limited to the following tasks:
- Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around the building sites.
- Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding.
- Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar.
- Using ladders, swinging scaffolds, hydraulic bucket trucks and other equipment to reach and demolish multi-storey structures.
- Cleansing and carrying out minor repairs on stormwater drains and canal and checking for cracks and leaks in sewerage systems.
- Digging holes and shoveling excavated material onto conveyers, wheelbarrows and trucks for removal.
- Spreading and levelling soil, gravel and sand on roads and driveways, trench bottoms and similar locations.
- Manufacture precast concrete products.
- Manufacture spun concrete pipe and the other precast products.
- Stripping mould that the product is made in then putting back together.
- Follow all safety instructions and ensure you will wear the correct PPE.
Ideally you will have:
- Own reliable transport
- At least 2 work references
- 100% commitment to Health and Safety
- Able to pass the pre-employment drug test
In return we offer competitive pay rates, varied and challenging work, regular hours with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, as well as long term opportunities.
Minimum pay range $27-$29 depending on experience
