About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Construction / Project Manager to lead and deliver building projects from planning through to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of running successful construction projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and onsite coordination.
• Lead and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and onsite staff.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes and quality standards. Strong attention to detail.
• Monitor project costs and variations; manage procurement and supplier relationships.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Ensure all work undertaken in compliance with all Health and Safety (H & S) regulations and our companies H & S requirements are actively participated in and followed.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Construction / Project Manager (or relevant senior site role).
• Trade qualification, construction management degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
• Strong communication/people skills and leadership abilities. A team player.
• Competence with project management software Procure and Site Docs. However, not essential as training will be provided.
• Excellent and accurate record keeping.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Experience in residential / commercial / civil construction
• Knowledge of NZ Building Code & Consenting Processes
• NZ Residency and minimum of 5 years experience in the Building Industry in NZ
