Are you a passionate pastry chef with a flair for both sweet and savory creations? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for leading a team? Our Butchers Kitchen retail shop is seeking a talented and versatile pastry chef to take charge of our kitchen and elevate our offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Create and produce a variety of high-quality pastries, pies, lasagnas, and other savory dishes.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory ,costings, ordering, and food safety.
- Lead and train a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Experience in creating both sweet and savory dishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A passion for food and a commitment to quality.
