Caretaker – Mount Albert Grammar School About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and versatile Caretaker to help maintain the beautiful grounds of Mount Albert Grammar School. This is a permanent, full-time position primarily based in Mount Albert, with the occasional travel to our North Shore depot as required.

MAGS is known for its stunning grounds, frequently praised by visitors, and as Caretaker, you'll play a key role in keeping them to keep them at the top of their game. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mowing, edging, and weed spraying
• Leaf blowing and litter collection
• General labouring and maintenance tasks across the school What We're Looking For
• A full, current class 1 driver’s licence (with the ability to drive a manual vehicle)
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work within set timeframes
• A willingness to take ownership of tasks while being a team player What We Offer
