Cost Controller

ConsultANZis looking for a skilledCost Controllerto join our client’s team on major civil infrastructure projects in Hawke’s Bay and Tauranga. You will help manage project costs, track budgets, and provide accurate reports. You will work closely with project managers and engineers to make sure projects stay on budget and run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, including variance and cash flow reports.
• Track project spending and identify cost trends.
• Ensure all costs are recorded correctly.
• Work with project managers to update budgets and schedules.
• Review subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Assist with project cost estimates and proposals.
• Support audits and make sure company policies are followed. Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in project cost control, preferably in civil infrastructure or construction.
• Good knowledge of project management and cost control principles.
• Experience with cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects at the same time. What We Offer:
