Hygiene & Cleaning Operators - Food Processing

Ecowize is the leading provider of specialist production hygiene and cleaning services to the food processing industry in New Zealand & Australia . Our hygiene and sanitation solutions provide high compliance across the food chain from safe food handling to biosecurity.

We are currently recruiting for multiple full time roles for hygiene operators at our client sites in the Auckland region processing a variety of food products. Please do not apply unless you are legally entitled to work in NZ and are currently in NZ.

Requirements (Skills and Experience) : Successful applicants will preferably have previous experience in industrial cleaning, large scale commercial cleaning or food processing environments.

The roles have the following responsibilities from the job description:

• Ensure the food processing environment and equipment is sanitized and cleaned as per Scope of Works.
• Comply with client's site rules and conditions at all times.
• Compliance with Ecowize sanitation and work place safety specifications .
• Compliance with chemical handling and safety specifications.
• Ensure 100% result is attained each shift to meet microbiological testing and physical inspection.

Certification in chemical handling, working at heights, first aid, enclosed space training will be highly regarded but not essential.

This is full time employment minimum 30 hours per week . However part time positions may be available to suitable applicants.

Reporting to the Site Manager or Operations Manager , shifts may cover 7 days and may include day and night shifts depending on location and seasonality. Roles could involve heavy lifting from time to time . Client drug testing may be required. Pre employment medical questionaire may be required.

Market hourly rate apply depending on experience.
