This is a Monday to Friday, 8.30-5pm role with flexibility and trust to work from home when life calls for it.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and coaching a team of six specialists to meet goals through confident, genuine client focused conversations
- Running one-on-ones, training sessions, and hindsight reviews
- Handling escalated customer issues and disputes professionally
- Identifying opportunities to improve collections processes and team effectiveness
- Collaborating across departments to influence outcomes and support business direction What you’ll bring:
- Leadership experience — ideally in finance, lending, collections or customer-facing environments
- Sound understanding of lending or collections best practice, CCCFA, and NZ insolvency law
- Hands-on coaching capability and confidence to challenge, motivate and grow your team
- An ability to influence at an operational level
- Professional, accountable, and people-focused leadership style
