The role: An exciting opportunity exists at our Dunedin branch to work on the latest construction equipment in the field. Develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry.
Work on a range of sites with no two days the same. Have autonomy and responsibility. Flex your expertise. Technical training provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, maintain and repair construction equipment that is now in our client’s possession
- Predominantly Field Service work working of a range of jobs
- Present professionally with an understanding of your customers’ needs
- Maintain exceptional relationships with customers and potential customers within the region
- Actively work to ensure excellent daily communication with the workshop and parts department
- Complete all paperwork as needed
- Ensure timecards are completed daily
- Record stocks, oils and other material used Our ideal applicant will:
- Hold a Diesel Mechanic trade qualification, or be a 3rd year apprentice
- Have construction equipment experience
- Be a self-starter with initiative
- Have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles
- Have hydraulics experience
- Be fit and able
- Know how to work hard, enjoy a laugh, and keep safe. We are a fun and supportive team that continuously looks for ways to help you grow and further develop.
