Cleaning, Gardener and Maintenance Worker

Property and Grounds is a team of property maintenance professionals with a proven track record of excellent work. Our standard with every job is to provide the reliability of a larger team, with the service of a boutique business.

We currently have two branches, maintaining commercial and residential properties across both Christchurch and Tauranga.

We work on both commercial and residential properties, our broad range of services covers everything from cleaning, plastering, painting, and flooring to installations, full-scale renovations, and landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning Duties; General residential and commercial cleaning, Deep cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans, Airbnb turnaround service, Post-construction cleaning, Window cleaning, Interior window cleaning, heat pump cleans etc
• Lawn Duties;Edging, mowing (push mowing) and blowing down.
• Gardening Duties;Weeding, spraying, mulching, trimming trees and bushes etc.
• Maintenance Duties;Any maintenance that is required by our clients. Clearing basic drain blockages, water blasting, rubbish removal, fixing and fitting anything including smoke alarm installs etc.
• Landscaping Duties;Planting, soil and bark installation and other landscaping work as required to assist in our landscaping departments.
• Sales Duties;Help grow our existing customer base with targeted leaflet mailbox deliveries and cold calling on potential clients.

Key Skills & Experience:

• A self-starter who can work independently on a regular maintenance run, which consists mainly of gardening and lawn maintenance.
• Previous experience using simPRO mobile app to ensure smooth logging and reporting of jobs multiple times in one day.
• Present jobs in a neat and tidy manner that instils faith in our customers on all interactions.
• Excellent communicator, who can communicate clearly with support staff and managers.
• Handle workload pressure of urgent works and schedule changes.
• Growsafe certificate and previous experience will be an added bonus, but not essential.
