Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Night Shift Cleaner to join our team based at our Awarua plant near Invercargill, Southland.
Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaners work as part of a team to conduct the pre-operation and post-operation cleaning processes. Cleaners are vital to the Plant Maintenance team to ensure all regulatory standards and compliance is maintained, as well as our operations team being able to run efficiently.
Night Cleaners are expected to handle various chemicals (with the supplied appropriate PPE and training for the task) and clean anywhere on site. We require cleaners to start immediately for the upcoming season, and those who can demonstrate the below will be considered for ongoing work opportunities.
Qualifications
- Key requirements for Cleaners include:
- Being a friendly, approachable team-player
- Being timely and reliable
- A good work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work varying shift patterns and be flexible and willing to work afternoon/evening shifts, as well as night shifts
- A proven track record of being reliable and punctual
- Demonstrating excellent time management
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- Commercial cleaning experience is advantageous and experience in a manufacturing-type environment will be highly considered.
