Service Technician (EWRB Registered)

HTS Group Ltd is a well-established NZ-owned company with over 25 years’ experience and branches in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. With secured work and strong growth through 2026 and beyond, we are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our field services team. This is a hands-on role with real variety, suited to an experienced technician who is comfortable working independently, uses technology confidently, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

About the Role

• Installation, maintenance and fault-finding of gates and gate automation systems
• Installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, including public transport environments
• Preventative and reactive maintenance to contract requirements
• Accurate completion of digital job reports and service documentation using tablets/laptops
• Communicating clearly with clients, supervisors and internal teams
• Some on-call work, overtime, and occasional travel may be required.

What We’re Looking For - Essential:

• EWRB registration (EST, EAS or TLC)
• Strong electrical and practical field experience
• Good computer skills – confident using tablets/laptops, completing service reports and emails
• Competent with hand and power tools
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
