We’re looking for an experienced electrician who’s ready to pass on their knowledge. As an Electrical Tutor, you’ll facilitate Skills-approved courses, support learners to achieve success, and help shape a future-fit workforce.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and assess courses in block or day-release formats
  • Support night classes and ongoing course development
  • Provide coaching and academic support to students
  • Monitor student progress and report outcomes
  • Maintain training centre resources and assist with workshop upkeep
  • Role model and promote Health & Safety practices Desired Skills And ExperienceWhat Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
  • NZ Electrical Registration (Full Practising Licence, Inspector’s Licence, or equivalent)
  • Significant practical experience in the electrical industry
  • Experience in adult teaching or training (or willingness to be trained)
  • Strong communication and student engagement skills
  • Confidence with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
