Industrial Electrician – Service & Maintenance
If you’re an experienced Industrial Electrician who enjoys variety, fault-finding, and real-world industrial challenges, this role is for you. You’ll be working across Auckland’s key industrial sites, keeping essential operations running through service, maintenance, and breakdown work — not repetitive install jobs. This is hands-on industrial work for electricians who take pride in solving problems and adapting to different environments.
Details Location: Varied industrial sites across Auckland Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $42–50 per hour (paid weekly)
The work You’ll be involved in a wide range of industrial service and maintenance tasks, including:
- Preventive and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on industrial equipment
- Emergency breakdown response
- Servicing motors, control panels, and industrial systems
- Small project works, upgrades, and commissioning
- Working across manufacturing, food processing, infrastructure, and utilities sites
Every day brings different systems, sites, and challenges.
What we’re looking for
- NZ Trade Qualified Electrician with current registration
- Proven experience in industrial service and maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Calm, practical approach during breakdowns and urgent situations
- Team-focused attitude
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to health & safety
Nice to have
- Experience across manufacturing, food processing, infrastructure, or utilities
- Hazardous Area endorsement
- Exposure to control systems or industrial automation
