Fire Alarm Technician | $50–$60/hr + Social Impact

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. If you have experience inspecting, servicing, fault-finding, or commissioning fire alarm systems and want to work with a professional, supportive company, we would love to hear from you.

The Role You will support our service and compliance teams in the inspection, servicing, fault-finding, repair, and commissioning of fire alarm systems. You will work in a positive team environment where we continually grow our capabilities together, support one another, and take pride in delivering excellent service.

Work includes a wide variety of fire protection and building compliance services, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, compliance inspections, automatic doors, access control systems, smoke curtains, passive fire protection systems, and other specialist building systems.

Typical work includes: *Providing senior-level support to our experienced and developing service technicians *Annual and routine inspections *Fault-finding and repairs *System commissioning and testing *Completing service reports and documentation *Responding to call-outs *Working with clients and other trades on site

What We're Looking For *Experience working on fire alarm systems *Strong knowledge of New Zealand fire standards, particularly NZS 4512 *Ability to diagnose faults and solve problems effectively *Good communication and customer service skills *Full New Zealand driver's licence
