Electrical Estimator

Helix Electrical is an established commercial electrical contractor operating across Auckland and the Bay of Plenty.

We deliver commercial builds, maintenance contracts and multi-unit developments for reputable clients including property groups, retail centres and government work.

We are now looking for a high-performing Electrical Estimator to take ownership of our pricing function based in Auckland and pricing in both regions.

The Role - You will be responsible for: *Full take-offs from drawings and specifications *Labour build-ups and productivity allowances *Reviewing tender documents and identifying risk *Obtaining and analysing subcontractor pricing *Preparing detailed tender submissions *Working closely with Project Managers for seamless handover *Protecting margin – not just winning work

You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in driving profitable growth.

What We’re Looking For: *5+ years’ electrical industry experience *Estimating experience on commercial projects *Strong understanding of labour units and productivity *Ability to read and interpret full drawing sets *Detail-focused and methodical 8Commercially sharp – understands margin and risk *Strong communication skills
