Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated industrial electrician to join our team, providing preventive and breakdown maintenance at a timber processing plant in Kaingaroa forest.
The Job: This is a full time contract position, working 12 hour rotating day and night shifts. You will be rostered 15-18 shifts a month. The shift rotation starts with 4 on 4 off, then 6 on 4 off and then finishes with 4 on 7 off.
A successful job applicant will have the following:
- Full NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB)
- Proficient in electrical standards & regulations for industrial environments
- Experience in electrical maintenance of industrial plants
- Experience with industrial electrical and control equipment
- Currently residing in NZ
- Is computer literate
Job responsibilities include:
- Perform preventive electrical maintenance
- Attend and assist with breakdowns
- Electrical system problem diagnoses and trouble shooting
- Electrical installations
