The Role: We are seeking a New Zealand registered Electrical Inspector to join our Technical Services team as an Inspector/Electrician. This opportunity offers a blend of responsibilities, with a primary focus on inspection duties and a small portion of the role dedicated to electrician work as needed. You will be involved in connecting new installations, including the installation of electricity retailer equipment, and undertaking general electrical installation and maintenance tasks when required.
Got what it takes?
- Current EWRB registration and a practising licence as an Electrical Inspector
- Proven electrical maintenance and diagnostic skills
- Ability to adapt to reactive work and think clearly under pressure with excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
- Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships
- High voltage industry experience is desirable
- Experience working at heights from either a ladder or an EWP
- Competent at understanding work plans and instructions
- Full New Zealand Class 1 Drivers Licence, and Class 2 (or the ability to obtain)
