We currently service commercial laundry and kitchen equipment in a variety of locations throughout the Canterbury area. As our workload continues to grow we are looking to add a Mechanical Service Technician to our busy Laundry/Kitchen division. On-job training would be given and the opportunity to earn your limited electrical qualification (ESTA). Our company will offer the support necessary to achieve this qualification. About You: This role is best suited to a mechanic or someone with a engineering background wanting to further themselves in an ‘on the job’ learning opportunity. The right Candidate will need to be switched on, eager to learn and will be happy to start with mechanical tasks. You will possess the ability to work well within a team, be able to take direction, but also be able to work autonomously when needed. Training is expected to take between 2-3 years so we are looking for someone who is committed and serious about growing their career. We need the person we are seeking to have the following skills and attributes:
- Great customer relations
- Honest, reliable and self-motivated
- High standard of communication skills
- Accurate time and record keeping
- Current Drivers License
- Be able to clear MOJ (Police check)
- Due to the nature of the work, you will need to be physically able as some lifting is involved We offer:
