Expression of Interest: Electricians & Electrical Trade Assistants Solar Farm Project 2026 Tradestaff Christchurch is gearing up for a major solar farm project kicking off in early 2026, and we’re seeking experienced Electricians and Electrical TAs to register their interest now.
Roles & Pay Rates Electricians – $38–$43/hour
- NZ EWRB Registered with current practising licence
- Commercial/industrial experience
- Experience on utility-scale solar farms preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing conditions
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
Electrical Trade Assistants – $27–$29/hour
- Proven experience supporting electrical teams
- Cable pulls, terminations, conduit work
- Solar farm or large-scale infrastructure experience advantageous
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
- Site Safe or willingness to obtain
