We're looking for an experienced industrial sparky who wants a rare balance of autonomy and teamwork. Work side-by-side with the team lead as a trusted partner, tackling everything from plant rebuilds and machinery refurbishments to complex commercial projects across Christchurch.

Your work will centre around keeping critical sites running safely and efficiently. You'll be fault-finding and maintaining plant and equipment, refurbishing and upgrading machinery, installing and modifying control systems, and supporting shutdowns and preventative maintenance program. Much of the work is based across factories, council infrastructure, and pump stations, where reliability and safety are key.

This is a role suited to someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and values work that keeps vital services and industry operating smoothly. What we are looking for:

• New Zealand Registered Electrician with demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance, servicing and upgrades
• Own tools and a self-sufficient approach on site
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, shutdowns, and site requirements
• Great time management and high quality workmanship
• Health and Safety conscious with excellent communication skills
