Residential & Commercial Electrician - DUNEDIN based We are proud to be recruiting for a Residential / Commercial Electrician for 100% locally owned and operated Dunedin company. This role has been created to support the current management structure and to provide support with a steady flow of work.
The Company Leading Dunedin electrical company for all domestic, commercial, and light industrial electrical work. They have been helping Dunedin residents for over 40 years and have built a strong organisational reputation for providing premium services at a fair price.
The Role This role will see you manage multiple clients within the Dunedin area, and will be working internally in a small team or independently. You will be providing technical solutions, ongoing maintenance, installation projects and fault diagnostic expertise. You will be responsible for organising your own work schedule and liaising directly with clients. If you are looking at advancing your career by learning new skills like estimating or supervisory roles then this will also be the role for you. We want to see applications from electricians who are not just considering their next 2 years but their next 10 - 15 yrs growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Providing professional experience for the customer
- Servicing & fault finding in residential & commercial settings
- Electrical maintenance & project work
- Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety requirements
The Ideal Person
- You will have a full NZ Electrical Licence
- Minimum 4 yrs NZ Electrical experience
- Above average diagnostic skills
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- A full current NZ drivers license
- A good level of computer literacy
- Previous experience in estimation / supervision will be an advantage
- Immediate NZ work Visa
