We are seeking an experienced NZ Registered Electrician to join our team at HQ Electrical Limited in the tourist town of Taupo, Waikato.
As a full-time Electrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services to both residential, commercial and rural clients in the local area.
You'll be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks in:
- New build and renovation housing work
- Farming maintenance, break down and new installations
- Light commercial work
You will be expected to:
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and best practices
- Provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed efficiently
What we're looking for:
- A current New Zealand Electrician registration
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Experience in general housing work from new builds to renovations and maintenance
- Experience in farm maintenance and /or light industrial work
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Flexibility with hours worked, potentially covering on call work, and available for extra hours when required.
