Flooring Installer - Commercial Vinyl

About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Vinyl Flooring Installer to join our team at Carpet Court. Based out of our Pukekohe warehouse, in this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for installing commercial vinyl and prep work. You'll deliver high-quality workmanship in line with industry best practices and compliance standards while creating an exceptional experience for our customers.

This is a Monday - Friday position, with additional hours available in line with projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install vinyl floor coverings in accordance with current New Zealand Standards and industry guidelines
• Ensure accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of all floor coverings
• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

You Will Have:

• Proven experience in vinyl flooring installation
• A clean, unrestricted NZ Class 1 driver’s licence
• Strong working knowledge of NZ installation standards and industry best practices
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Strong measurement and calculation ability
• Great time management and reliability
• A team mindset – approachable, helpful, and solutions-focused
