Arborist Crew Member

We have a position available for an Arborist.

Tree Wise Men is a Tauranga-based arboricultural company specialising in tree care and tree management for Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty.

About the Role You’ll be part of a collaborative, experienced crew delivering professional tree work across Tauranga. Your responsibilities will be matched to your experience, qualifications. This role is ideal if you enjoy hands-on tree work, value good systems and teamwork, and want to continue developing your skills in a safe, supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out safe and efficient pruning, removals, and maintenance
• Using arborist equipment and machinery in line with best-practice safety systems
• Supporting on-site health, safety, and environmental standards
• Maintaining tools, vehicles, and work areas to a high standard
• Contributing to a positive, solutions-focused team culture

Minimum requirements:

• Experience working within the arboriculture industry
• Full, clean NZ Class 1 driver’s licence

Desirable (but not essential):

• National Certificate in Arboriculture - Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) with proven practical experience
• Class 2 licence
