Landscaping Team Leader

About the role:

This is a full-time hands-on role working on sites across the Waikato region. As the Landscaping Team Leader/Site Supervisor, you will take a hands-on approach to all you do and lead by example to deliver exceptional landscaping services for our valued clients at Natural Habitats.

What You'll Be Doing:

*Hard landscaping tasks including paving, concreting, fencing and more

*Soft landscaping tasks including planting, soiling, mulching, and if required maintenance

*Oversee the day-to-day tasks of a small team of landscapers on site ensuring projects are completed

*Work alongside landscapers and share your skills and knowledge to help the team upskill and deliver a quality job

*Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to achieve excellence

*Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on site

*Monitor and report on performance, productivity and customer satisfaction as and when required

What we're looking for

*Proven experience as a Landscaping Team Leader or Site Supervisor, with at least 3 years' in a similar role

*Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of commercial and residential landscaping, including hard landscaping, planting, irrigation.

*Physically fit and can-do attitude

*Common sense approach, and a passion for excellence

*Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leader skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

*Proficient in reading and interpreting landscaping plans, specifications and drawings

*Working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements and a commitment to safe working practices at all times

*Full clean drivers licence (WTR advantageous)

*Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscaping or a related field would be highly regarded
