Mitre 10 MEGA Papanui is seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Team Member to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the racking, store upkeep and shop projects while also performing general maintenance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and installation of racking systems and other store fixtures to support shop fit-out projects.
• Conduct basic carpentry work to assist with various installation and maintenance tasks (no formal qualification required).
• Collaborate effectively with managers and team members to ensure all tasks are completed as expected.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of store facilities and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the setup and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with safety regulations for all tasks.
• Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive outlook and approach to work.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to support shop fit-out activities and conduct basic carpentry work effectively.
• Physically capable and comfortable lifting heavy items and using tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent collaboration skills with a positive attitude.
