Position: Scaffolder Location: Auckland Type: Full-time / Permanent Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour Days: Monday to Friday (with occasional calls on weekends) Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours per week
The Company: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Auckland scaffolding company that provides reliable edge protection and scaffolding solutions to busy trade crews across the region. They are seeking an experienced Scaffolder to join their team and help safely assemble and dismantle scaffolding on site.
Key Responsibilities: Safely erect, dismantle, and maintain scaffolding to support construction projects, including:
- Arriving on time, loading equipment, and reviewing work plans
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding according to specifications
- Installing braces, guardrails, ladders, and walking platforms
- Safely handling and moving materials on and off sites
- Communicating with supervisors about job progress and material needs
- Checking and maintaining scaffold equipment
- Following all health and safety requirements and best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least two years of relevant scaffolding experience
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Good physical fitness and comfortable working at heights
- Strong understanding of scaffolding safety and load requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must have a clean police report with no charges pending
