Grounds & Sextons Labourer – Citycare Property- Temporary Position (Potential to go permanent for the right person)

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Labourer to support our Gardens team and Sextons operations. This is a physical, varied role that suits someone who’s reliable, fit, and confident working with tools and machinery.
You’ll be involved in work such as:
Operating wheels, rollers and tracked equipment
Assisting with general garden and grounds maintenance
Supporting Sextons with heavy digging and burial preparation
Manual labouring tasks across parks, cemeteries and public spaces
Helping the wider Property team when needed
What We’re Looking For
Physically fit and comfortable doing heavy, repetitive manual work
Previous experience in labouring, construction, civil, landscaping, or similar
Confident operating small plant or machinery (WTR desireable)
A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in all conditions
