We are looking for people interested in working as Traffic Management Operators (TMOs) and STMS to join leading civil and infrastructure crews across Wellington, with major projects kicking off over summer.
Our client is ahead of the curve and already transitioning to the New Zealand Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM), which replaces the old CoPTTM framework. This modern, risk-based system focuses on achieving the lowest total risk for both workers and the public. With training and unit standards being updated to align with NZGTTM, now is the ideal time to enter the industry or take the next step in your traffic management career.

Key responsibilities
- Set up, monitor, and maintain compliant TTM sites
- Manage traffic flow, signage, and layout changes
- Lead on-site crews and allocate daily tasks
- Carry out safety checks, site inductions, and toolbox talks
- Ensure site compliance and complete daily documentation
What we're looking for
- Current TMO Practising or STMS A/B Practising certification OR willingness to train (full support provided)
- Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 is an advantage)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
