Primary Role: Freight Sorting for NZ Post
Step into a vital position supporting NZ Post operations at Christchurch Airport and the Christchurch East Depot. This role offers variety and the chance to be part of a fast-paced logistics team, ensuring timely deliveries for the community.
- Shift Options: Flexible schedules with a mix of day, evening, and night shifts to suit your student lifestyle.
- Competitive Pay: Day shifts at $26.10 per hour plus holiday pay; evening and night shifts at $29.31 per hour plus holiday pay—earn more while building your skills!
- Key Responsibilities: Sorting freight efficiently with precision and care.
- What We're Looking For:
- Commitment to multiple shifts per week, with flexibility around timings.
- Physical fitness, strength, reliability, and exceptional attention to detail.
Additional Summer Opportunities: Explore diverse roles that fit around your studies and provide valuable experience:
- Pick Packers in Hillsborough:
- Shifts: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM, Monday to Friday; or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.
- Requirements: Availability for full weeks.
- Pay: $24 per hour plus holiday pay.
- Ideal for those who thrive in organised, team-oriented warehouse settings.
- Events Staff (On-Call):
- Roles: Corporate waiters, event labourers, and stagehands.
- Pay: $24 - $25.50 per hour.
- Perfect for energetic individuals who enjoy varied, exciting work at local events.
Essential Requirements for All Roles: To ensure a safe and professional workplace, candidates must:
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Pass a clean criminal history check and drug test.
