Description
The House Moving industry is a great industry to be apart of. It combines the construction industry with the heavy haulage/ transport industry so you get the benefits of both. You will get to visit new places, be a key part of the team when we do big moves, as well as pick up very useful skills and training along the way. Ideally, you will have house moving/piling experience.
The MINIMUM requirements:
- MUST HAVE: Full clean Class 1 minimum, with a class 2 license. -MUST be Physically fit and strong and must be reliable.
- Able to complete laboring tasks and follow instructions and be a good listener. -Ability to work safely and learn new skills and have a "can do" attitude. -You will be required to work out of Hawkes Bay at times, as we go where the work is. -Must be Available to work the odd weekend- again depending on the needs of the business. (This is predominantly a Monday to Friday role) -Not afraid of heights as we work on roofs. Ideally someone with knowledge about roofing. -Must be able to work in confined spaces such as under buildings. Some of the duties will include, Piling house foundations, Digging holes, concreting, setting up of jacks so being physically fit is essential.
