About you: We’re looking for a Labourer / Traffic Controller (TMO) to join our team based in Te Kuiti. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll support day-to-day site operations and ensure traffic management plans are followed to keep both the public and crew safe. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and maintaining compliant Traffic Management Plans
- Providing traffic control as required
- General labouring duties including pothole repairs, sign maintenance and site clean-up
- Assisting with civil construction, drainage and water works
- Safe operation and care of vehicles, plant and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workmanship
- Communicating progress and issues to Supervisors
About you: You’re reliable, safety-focused and enjoy working as part of a crew. You take pride in your work, follow instructions well, and aren’t afraid to get stuck in. You’ll bring:
- A full, clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence
- Ideally you will have a TTM Worker or TMO qualification
- Strong awareness of health & safety and risk management
- Clear verbal communication skills
- A team-player mindset and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently once tasks are set
