Description

Support gas network operations across Lower Hutt. Deliver safe, high-quality field work while contributing to Zero Harm, customer satisfaction, and team success.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

As a Utility Worker - Gas, you'll play a key role supporting gas field operations across the Lower Hutt region. Working independently or as part of a crew, you'll assist with day-to-day site activities, plant operation, and general labour to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You'll contribute to the successful delivery of contracts by supporting Zero Harm outcomes, maintaining equipment, completing quality documentation, and building positive relationships with clients, residents, and the public. This is a varied, hands-on role offering opportunities to grow your skills and develop within the gas and utilities industry.

Mōu koe | About You

  • Current Class 1 driver's licence
  • A strong commitment to Zero Harm and safe work practices
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, thorough, and able to work under pressure
  • Industry or trade experience is advantageous (gas, utilities, or heavy trade experience desirable)
