Our Wellington team is looking for a Storeperson to join the heart of our Downer Energy Stores (Power & Gas). In this hands‑on role, you'll manage day‑to‑day store operations including receipting goods against packing slips, preparing consignments for daily couriers, coordinating gas meter servicing and deliveries, processing stock returns for repair or credit, and maintaining accurate stock levels so our crews have what they need, when they need it.

  • Proven stores/warehouse coordination skills and computer literacy (Microsoft suite plus JDE and SAP).
  • Forklift Licence (required), Driver's Licence, safe machinery operation, and solid manual‑handling habits.
  • A methodical, service‑focused style - organised, calm under pressure, and clear in your written and verbal comms.
  • Pride in tidy stock, tidy data, and tidy paperwork - from delivery notes to as‑needed operational records.
