About the Role Join the team at our busy Neilson Street container depot in Onehunga. This permanent full-time position offers the chance to build a long-term career in the shipping container industry. You’ll be responsible for repairing rusted or damaged containers flat racks and equipment using welding cutting painting and light fabrication techniques all to industry and IICL standards.
Days and Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday as required 7:00 am – 12:00 pm Location: Neilson Street Depot Onehunga
What We’re Looking For
Skills: Welding steel cutting painting and/or light fabrication experience (Or recently completed a welding certificate —or a great opportunity for entry-level or school leavers) Attitude: Motivated hardworking and willing to learn Teamwork: Able to work well with others in a busy environment Safety: Strong commitment to safe work practices and following procedures Flexibility: Able to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced depot environment

Requirements Candidates must pass a pre-employment medical and drug test a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Criminal History Check and be eligible to work in New Zealand.
