About the role: You'll be working on commercial and construction projects, leading crews and ensuring scaffolding is installed safely and efficiently. This role suits someone confident running jobs and mentoring junior scaffolders.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead scaffold teams and coordinate daily site activities
- Safely erect and dismantle scaffolding structures
- Ensure work meets health and safety and compliance standards
- Maintain strong communication with supervisors and crew
- Monitor job progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Support and guide less experienced team members
What we're looking for:
- Current scaffolding ticket, Elementary, Intermediate, or Advanced
- Experience leading crews or working as a senior scaffolder
- Strong work ethic and safety-first mindset
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
- Full Class 1 licence preferred
- Must be willing to relocate to the South Island
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
