Opportunity -
- Permanent, full-time.
- Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.
- A minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed (usual hours between 40-50 per week).
- Exciting and varied projects.
- The usual working days are Monday - Saturday.

Location - Rotorua and surrounding towns (Taupo, Tokoroa, and Whakatane, day trips).
You -
- Located in New Zealand with working experience in New Zealand.
- Minimum 4-5 years of scaffolding experience with relevant training.
- NZ driver's license - Class 1 full minimum, Class 2 advantageous.
- Site Safe & Working at Heights certificate is current, or the ability to obtain one.
- Hold a current SARNZ advanced scaffolding ticket or scaffolding certificate of competence (COC) or have the ability to obtain one.
- Fit & healthy team player with a can-do attitude and not afraid of work.
- Enjoys working at heights.
Job Description -
- Experience in leading a team of guys building and assisting with various scaffolding projects.
- Ability to read gear list requirements and load scaffolding onto vehicles ready for jobs.
- Securing a stable base for scaffolding.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, working platforms, and roof edge protection.
- Laying of planks for workers to walk on.
- General housekeeping of customer sites, clean up as you go, put scaffolding into stillages ready for Hiab collection.
- Good written and oral skills to complete timesheets daily, Job Sheets, and Handover certificates for every job, and communicate with other team members.
- Safety-conscious at all times and involved in Health and Safety awareness, able to assist in identifying hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, working with codes and policies.
We seek a scaffolder who is well-versed and able to multitask, as no one day is the same, as you could be on multiple sites during one day. Happy to travel out of town for day jobs only, no overnight stays required.
