Cabinetry Installer – Tiltaway Beds NZ

Tiltaway Beds NZ is ready to expand again and we’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Installer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in a role that mixes independence, problem-solving, and customer interaction.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing our premium wall bed systems in both residential and commercial environments. Installations take place either in our Tauranga factory or at customer sites across the country. Most work is in the Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty regions, with travel further afield required. Alongside installation duties, you’ll assist with inwards goods, wrapping and packing products, dispatching orders, and general factory tasks. Keeping the workspace clean, tidy, and organised is an important part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install Tiltaway Wall Beds & systems in homes and commercial spaces
• Problem solve on-site and ensure high-quality workmanship
• Considerate and respectful of our clients and their property
• Provide professional, friendly customer service
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle
• Work independently and as part of a small team
• Assist with factory operations, including packing and dispatch

About You:

• Strong practical or handyman skills — cabinetry experience is an advantage
• Confident using power tools and measuring equipment
• Clean NZ Full Driver’s Licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage your time well
• Physically capable of lifting and manoeuvring products safely
• NZ residency or valid work rights
